Liz and I took the little kids to the "Healing Field" in Sandy today to remember all those lost on September 11, it was very emotional. Landon and Alex were in awe of all the flags and happily played under them not knowing the terrible tragedy that they represented. Today, there are 1,776 Flags -- 60 of them have the name of a Utah soldier who was killed. Each yellow bow represents a Utah soldier killed while serving since 9/11. It's absolutely overwhelming, looking at the sacrifice that others have made so we can be here today and have our freedom to enjoy this beautiful experience.

I STILL LIGHT MY LUMINARIES AND FLY MY FLAGS. REMEMBER SEPT 11TH WAS MY FIRST DAY BACK AFTER HAVING CHRISTIAN. I WAS ALSO STAYING AT MY PARENTS BECAUSE OF THE FLOOD. SURE GLAD I WAS YOUR NEIGHBOR. LOL Thanks for the great pics. I am glad you and Liz went.
