Weather Forecast: Spring begun more than 10 days ago, but tonight there may be some light snow showers. Out my window, an overcast sky and light winds blow a chill through the air....SPRINGS light snow is already falling.
I opened Ayden's blinds to find a snowy cold Monday morning. I grumbled "It's spring, who ordered the snow..this sucks!" Ayden quickly replied "Mom, Heavenly Father sent us the snow so it doesn't suck" I was completely humbled by my six year old. I remember just how precious our children are and thankful for all the many blessings our Father in Heaven bestows on us even if we don't think of it as a blessing. I looked at the beautiful spring snow through the eyes of my 6 year old son and smiled.
And they brought young children to Him, that He should touch them: and His disciples rebuked those that brought them. But when Jesus saw it, He was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto Me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God' (Mark 10:13-14).

so sweet. It's true that if we allow our children they teach us so much. I just need to listen more. Love ya, Heather
Isn't that the truth - Ayden has the right perspective, that's for sure!
I wasn't seeing God's blessings in the snow that we got last week either. I grumbled about it all day long. Sometimes you have to stop and look at the sucky parts of life just like Ayden does. And if we always did that, we'd be much happier, wouldn't we?
