Primary Children's Medical Center

On Christmas Eve we took all the blankets and hats to the NICU at Primary Children's Medical Center. I don't know what it is but every time I walk in the door I get disoriented and overwhelmed with emotion. We wanted to take the blankets up to the NICU and not just leave them with a volunteer at the desk but I couldn't find my way, I had been there so many times but this time I couldn't find it. I was disappointed that none of Landon nurses were there, I looked forward to seeing them. We stopped in the cafeteria for a quick bite to eat and as we were sitting there a life flight team raced by, I took one look at the tiny isolate and tears immediately ran down my face. I am thankful (although the pain is still in my heart) that he took his first ride on a helicopter (life flight) when he was just hours old to PCMC and that they had the tools and knowledge to help him become the healthy curious little boy that he is today. We are truly blessed that Landon is here with us today and that he had such wonderful doctors and nurses to take care of him. Again, I want to thank those that took time out of their own busy Christmas schedule to help me with my project, I wouldn't have been able to do it without you and it meant more to me than you will ever know. I have been so blessed with great friends, family and strangers that have taken my little project to heart and made it a part of their Christmas, I am so grateful for you all. Ok, now on to next year.....
